Over the eight years of my professional experience, I’ve organically transitioned into increasingly technical roles in the fields of data analytics and warehousing. Starting as a data analyst with degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Economics, I picked up the skills needed to work on a medical data warehouse and then in the casual games space in a role that both requires, and gives me the freedom, to learn every day.
It should go without saying that I keep a keen eye on providing value by focusing on the highest priority issues the business faces. To that point, I enjoy working in an agile environment with smart people who understand why we’re here and like to nerd out about technology.
Lastly, I’m passionate about being involved in local professional groups like TDWI, PASS, and Meetups. Without a doubt, I would not have gotten to this point in my career if it weren’t for groups such as these.
